We've had the pleasure of working with sisters Mallory and Kirstie of Elevate Events multiple times. When they came to us, we had the most aligned and impactful discovery call I've ever had as a website designer. I couldn't wait to work with them and I've been thankful for each time since. They've grown so much but what hasn't changed is their talent and drive. They've always planned extremely thoughtful and beautiful events and are always pushing themselves to be better. The projects I'm talking about today reflect their latest website.

Branding

When we first worked together in 2019, Elevate needed a new brand. We partnered with Rhema Design Co. because we knew she'd be able to bring a sophisticated look to the design and with her deep strategy work, the brand would feel timeless and modern all at once. AnnaKate created a variety of logos and taglines to use throughout the site, giving the whole design a very personalized tough. It reminded me of stationery. The color palette is very cool and neutral, lending it a lot of versatility since Elevate Event's work is so diverse in color. And the type suite is elevated and classic, lending a high end look to the site. The brand was perfect for our needs!

Website Strategy, Design & Development

Elevate's site opens with a video, giving life and movement to the site as soon as you land on it. This was an important change from their first design and I'm so happy they got this video for the site. Video adds a lot of texture to a site when it can feel more flat. At the bottom of the homepage, we wanted to end with a call to action and added a new font for buttons, changing from the old blue ones to a clean, underlined text. This made the site feel more editorial and matched the look of their more current work.

Their services page is my most favorite. It has a lot of layering and dimension. We wanted visitor's eyes to travel across the page, encouraging them to read about the offerings Elevate has. This was achieved through layouts that alternate and using impactful photography to compliment the copy. This redesign from their original site was all about showing how much Elevate had grown in just a couple of years. We kept the details minimal but used photography and copy as texture throughout the site.

Course Sales Page

Elevate Events, as an industry leader, also released a course for other event planners. We worked with Rhema Design Co. again to create a sister brand to their main brand. I always highly suggest this for courses and resources you're selling to make them feel distinct. Their main site was for couples and vendors but with this new audience, we knew a complimentary brand would be perfect to speak to event planners instead. We did a lot of layering on the course sales page as well to align the sites together so they felt like they were from the same company. Visit the page here.

Resources Shop

Recently, we also worked with Elevate Events to design and develop a shop with resources and apparel. We kept the design and shopping experience minimal to keep the focus on the products and their benefits.
